Lobby Day 2007

In May, 15 member of Local 943 made the trip to Springfield to meet with our legislators.  It was a very interesting day as the House was in session with the governor concerning the budget which had not been passed as of that date. 

Members did meet with their senators and were able to express their views on many pressing issues.  Lunch was served to the attendees in the governor's mansion.

The members who trekked to Springfield were: Ellen Bell, Eddie Caffey, Mary Lou Dressel, Cynthia Foulkes, Claudine Loyd, Cindy Layer, Jeanne Melka, Eugene Mudra, Linda Mudra, Kathy Setlak, Lorena Smuda, Judy Spirakes, Dawn Stanovich, Hank Turek, and Prudence Yontez.
