Local 943 is offering a NEW course for Paraprofessionals only entitled:
"MANAGING STUDENT BEHAVIOR FOR SUPPORT STAFF"

The highlights of this course include: Classroom management techniques when working with children, promoting student learning
and creating a cohesive learning environment.

The course runs for 6 Saturdays: 9/8, 9/22, 10/6, 10/20, 10/25, 11/3 from 9 - Noon at the union office. The instructor is Bill Lammel, a paraprofessional from District 135.

***The registration fee for this course is $25. If you attend ALL 6 sessions, your $25 registration fee will be refunded!!!
